Spotlight: U.S. Vehicle insiders warn harm of viable price lists on imported motors

NEW YORK, April 16 (Xinhua) — U.S. Car enterprise insiders continue to express grave issues about Washington’s tariff threat on imported motors and parts from Europe and elsewhere at the industry assembly Automobile Forum, and the New York International Auto Show 2019 on Tuesday.

“If the tariffs happened with all the enterprises, pretty frankly, it is pulling the pin down the grenade,” warned Bob Carter, government vice chairman of Toyota Motor North America, at a dialogue with Peter Welch, president and chief executive officer with National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA).
